If you're like me, you are probably overwhelmed with the amount of information you can find when you start doing research!  This is a list of books and resources I found to be helpful on my healing journey and hopefully they can help you along on yours.  


You will notice that some are Thyroid/Hashimoto's healing books and then there are some personal growth-type books. In my healing journey, there were several aspects I had to work through to get to where I am now. One of them being, emotional and personal growth. I learned a HUGE part of healing transformations  include emotional and personal growth. If we don't let go of or learn how to deal with negative emotions/patterns/feelings, we can not truly heal. Mental and Physical health go hand in hand. Both must be balanced!

  This book gave me great information and guidance on my thyroid journey.  It is filled with everything this pharmacist did to heal herself of her Hashimoto's!

The Hashimoto's 4-week plan is very clear and easy to understand. It includes little step by step challenges and is broken down into weekly sections. It also focuses on the mental/emotional side of healing which is awesome and so important. I loved the recipe's in this book too!

I love this book! It is a short, 1-2 page daily read that focuses on the recovery process, letting ourselves feel all our emotions, accepting powerlessness, and owning our own power.  Every little section goes with each day of the week.

 "Stop Believing the Lies About Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be". Rachel Hollis is amazing!!! She is hilarious and I love the way she writes!  This book is all about self empowerment, self love, happiness and learning how to be your true self again to live your best life.  "You, and only you, are ultimately responsible for how happy you are."
